Our Finance Team is looking for experienced professionals to join us in BGC in the role of Corporate Planning Officer.
In this role, you will conduct regular and spot audits of units outlined in the Department's annual audit plan, as well as special or fraud investigations as assigned.
You will ensure that all audit reviews and processes adhere to established internal auditing standards, including those set by the Institute of Internal Auditors International Standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Auditing, regulatory authorities, and relevant codes of ethics.

What the role will entail Mentors and coaches Corporate Planning Officers on matters related to performance reporting, budgeting, and financial analysis for the lending cluster businesses.Acts as Lead Manager for the annual planning/budgeting/forecasting exercise while closely coordinating with the lending cluster business unit headsMonitors and reports the lending cluster business performance monthly while focusing on deviations against established goals and objectivesProvides recommendations on identified opportunities and risks in the lending cluster business financials and key performance driversAssists businesses in launching new products or marketing programs by providing decision support through financial analysis tools (e.g.
Net Present Value analysis, capital budgeting, etc.
)Maintains documented policies and procedures for reporting frameworks, processes, business models, and financial analysis/capital budgeting.Performs supervisory functions on goal setting, performance assessment, timekeeping, leave management, monitoring Service Level Agreements (SLA) and equitable workload distributionAssists the Corporate Planning Head in attaining the goals and objectives of the Corporate Planning Group including other projects or responsibilities that may be occasionally assigned by the Corporate Planning HeadWhat we're looking for Candidate must possess a Bachelor's/College Degree, in Accountancy/Finance/Banking/Economics or equivalentCertified Public Accountant (CPA) is an advantageMBA is preferred but not requiredAt least 8 years of work-related experience in the banking industry is required for this position.Preferably with experience in Corporate or Business Finance.Working knowledge of MIS systems and AnalyticsExtensive knowledge of Consumer and Business Lending Products and ServicesExtensive knowledge of MS Office/ Accounting & Operating SystemsManagement Reporting, Budgeting, and ALCO experience is a mustExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong or above-average analytical skillsWhat you can expect from joining our team Career development and training opportunitiesPerformance-based incentives and recognition programs to reward high-performing individuals.Opportunity to work with industry experts and be mentored by them.Defined career progression paths to guide you in your professional growth
