We are seeking an Optimization Lead to join our team on an international project.
Reporting directly to the customer's management team, this role involves optimizing multivendor 2G, 3G, 4G & 5G sites to meet defined network quality targets while reducing current spend levels for optimization on the customers' network.
The successful candidate will be responsible for initiating and delivering various quality and performance programs or activities to continually improve the end-customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
* Produce radio optimization plans to achieve quality targets within area of ownership.
* Undertake proactive radio network investigations and support wide-area projects.
* Manage radio capacity within area of ownership, escalating requirements where necessary.
* Coordinate with other teams and departments to ensure timely delivery of data-build against objectives.
* Develop mitigation plans against identified risks and issues regarding coverage and performance.
* Provide regular communication and reporting to the customer's management on workstream progress, risks, and issues.
* Initiate and manage drive test requests, analyzing and delivering recommendations or requirements.
* Support key business objectives and programs, transmission product capability testing, and release.
* Work closely with end-customers to ensure high-quality customer experience against multi-operator contractual commitments.
* Support Corporate and Business Accounts teams in bid support and ongoing experience.
* Take ownership and drive resolution of customer complaints, internal, and VIP escalations.
* Analyze complex data, network traces, cross-functional working.
* Identify faults, generate cases, and drive resolution via Operations teams and suppliers.
* Understand Frequency, Scrambling Code, and PCI planning, and Capacity Planning.
Required Skills
* Fully competent in using appropriate customer radio planning and optimization tools.
* A Subject Matter Expert understanding of air interface parameters, propagation models, antenna systems, frequency planning, and optimization techniques on multiple vendors' equipment.
* Fully competent in using vendor OSS such as NetAct, Ericsson ENM, and Radio Planning tools like Atoll and iBwave.
* Analyze complex data, draw meaningful conclusions, and understand commercial impact to the customer.
* High levels of computer literacy including MS Office applications.
* Educated to Degree level or equivalent is desirable.
* Minimum of five years' experience in a Senior Optimization role.
