What you will do
The Learning and Development Manager will be a passionate believer in the transformative power of people and shape and lead a learning culture that empowers our people, drives performance, and aligns with our values. The Learning and Development Manager will be dynamic, inspirational, and resilient and will combine visionary thinking with execution excellence. This role requires balancing people development, operational rigor, strategic planning, and hands-on leadership. You will work side by side with leadership, influence key decisions, and ensure that L&D initiatives directly support business growth and performance.
* Collaborate with the Global People Director on defining and driving the Global L&D strategy, aligning learning priorities with business goals and long-term talent development needs.
* Manage and act as a facilitator for all L&D processes, procedures and guidelines globally, assuring alignment, communication and collaborations between all our offices, capabilities, and stakeholders (from global senior leadership to local logistics suppliers).
* Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership and partners, translating business challenges and priorities into learning opportunities.
* Lead annual budget planning and oversee financial management of L&D programs, including vendor partnerships and resource and budget re-allocation.
* Improve L&D processes and cost-efficiency by integrating (digital) best practices.
* Manage the global L&D team, ensuring alignment, coaching, and continuous development.
* Develop and maintain data-driven reporting and dashboards.
* Design, oversee and manage a portfolio of learning experiences, from technical to cross-functional programs, including our e-learning platform, ensuring scalability and relevance.
* Foster a culture of learning and feedback across the organization, embedding learning into everyday work.
* Work with internal and external stakeholders to co-create and deliver impactful programs.
What you’ll bring
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Psychology, Business, or a related field.
* 5+ years of experience in Learning and Development, preferably in consulting, technology, or fast-paced environments.
* Proven track record in designing, implementing, and scaling learning programs.
* Experience in budget planning, team leadership, and executive stakeholder management.
* Experience working with large teams would be a strong plus.
* Experience working within a culturally diverse environment.
* Deep understanding of modern learning technologies and L&D trends.
* Proven ability to build, lead, and grow teams.
* Strong project management skills and the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
* Excellent stakeholder management skills, with experience influencing senior leadership.
* Data-driven mindset; confidently presenting insights and results to executive audiences.
* Strategic thinker with strong business acumen.
* Demonstrated ability to thrive in dynamic settings and effectively navigate ambiguity.
