NTU International A/S is leading a consortium for the implementation of the EIB funded project called: JETP South Africa Transnet Decarbonisation Framework Loan and is searching for experts to support the core team during the implementation of this project.
Location: South Africa.
Duration: Q3 2026.
Non-Key Expert: Lead Project Economist
️ Minimum Qualifications and skills:
* University degree in Economics or equivalent.
* Proficiency in oral and written English language.
️ Minimum General & Specific professional experience:
* Minimum of 10 years' experience in transport projects economics, of which at least 3 years preferably in Sub-Saharan Africa.
* Working experience in South Africa is an added advantage.
* Involvement in a minimum of 2 preparatory studies (feasibility studies, detailed design, tender documentation) related to transport infrastructure projects in the past 10 years.
* Involvement in a minimum of 1 transport project preferably in Sub-Saharan Africa, financed by EU, EIB or other IFI's in the past 10 years.
