At Randstad Digital , we connect mid-to-senior specialized professionals with global industry leaders. We are currently recruiting a Records Management Office (RMO) Controller on behalf of a leading global Corporate & Investment Bank (CIB) .
We are seeking a mid-to-senior level professional with a minimum of 6 years of experience to help drive and execute the global regulatory and transaction records management strategy across the AMER, EMEA, and APAC regions.
About the Role & Responsibilities
In this position, you will oversee and coordinate regulatory and non-regulatory corporate records, ensuring compliance with strict global corporate governance and regulatory scrutiny. You will act as a key partner bridging multiple cross-functional areas, including Information Technology, Compliance, Legal, Controls, and Data Management.
- Strategy & Transformation: Assist in the evolution of the RMO Target Operating Model, driving the transformation of records management processes to meet shifting organizational and regulatory requirements.
- Process Automation: Actively support projects aimed at automating manual data processing for regulatory and transactional records (pre- and post-trade).
- Policy & Governance: Maintain and update RMO policies, operational procedures, and record retention schedules.
- Daily Operations: Provide robust oversight of day-to-day Business-As-Usual (BAU) operations within the RMO, ensuring secure storage and efficient accessibility of records.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Engage with diverse internal stakeholders and facilitate a collaborative environment where subject matter experts can solve complex data issues.
What We Are Looking For
- Experience: 6+ years of professional experience within financial operations, trade support, middle office, or compliance data management.
- Financial Domain Knowledge: Strong understanding of the trade lifecycle (pre-trade, post-trade, execution tickets, settlement, booking, etc.) for at least one asset class.
- Technical Literacy: Good knowledge of industry-standard data warehouse technologies and the ability to extract data from a wide range of trading applications.
- Analytical Skills: Proven ability to analyze transaction data at the trade level; previous experience in trade reconciliation is highly beneficial.
- Language Skills: English (Expert level) is mandatory, as you will interact daily with international hubs across various regions.
- Soft Skills: Outstanding attention to detail, proactive mindset, and a collaborative, problem-solving attitude.
