Job Description
We are looking to strengthen its team with a highly skilled and motivated Head of Quality. We are seeking a strategic leader committed to excellence and passionate about food safety.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop, implement, and oversee the company's Quality and Food Safety strategy.
* Ensure full compliance with ISO 22000 standards and all applicable legal and regulatory requirements.
* Lead, mentor, and develop the Quality team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
* Coordinate internal and external audits, ensuring the maintenance of certifications.
* Monitor performance indicators and implement effective action plans.
* Collaborate closely with Production, Logistics, Procurement, and other key departments to ensure process integrity.
* Manage customer complaints, non-conformities, and corrective/preventive actions.
Qualifications
Profile Requirements
* Degree in Food Engineering, Quality Management, Biotechnology, or a related field.
* Proven experience in Quality leadership roles, preferably within the food industry.
* Strong knowledge of ISO 22000 and food safety management systems (like FSSC 22000, IFS…)..
* Experience in the meat production industry will be considered a strong advantage.
* Excellent communication, leadership, and decision-making skills.
* High level of organization, rigor, and results orientation.
* Critical thinking and the ability to drive structural improvements
