Job Overview
This is an exciting opportunity to lead a large-scale data center project as a skilled Project Manager.
The role involves supervising mechanical and sanitary installations, reviewing construction proposals, managing costs, planning day-to-day site operations, and tracking progress against schedule and manpower levels.
A key aspect of this job is ensuring that all variations are captured and costs issued to the client in a timely manner.
Responsibilities
1. Supervise the installation of mechanical and sanitary systems in a large-scale data center environment.
2. Review and approve construction proposals and related pricing and scopes.
3. Manage all costs associated with mechanical installations.
4. Plan and coordinate day-to-day site operations in conjunction with package managers.
5. Track progress against schedule and manpower levels for sub-contractor activities.
6. Coordinate material deliveries to correspond with the project schedule.
7. Hold weekly commercial meetings with the commercial team to ensure all variations are being captured and costs issued to the client.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
1. Solid background in Mechanical and Sanitary Project Management with a strong ability to lead complex programs while maintaining control over scope, timelines, and budgets.
2. Demonstrated success in overseeing and coordinating large-scale installation projects, particularly within data center environments.
3. Deep understanding of mechanical design and construction principles tailored to the specific demands of data center infrastructure.
