MissionsThe Portuguese branch is currently looking to strengthen its team with a :
Senior Accountant for our office based in Lisbon.
The team
You will be part of the Wealth Management local team, reporting to the Finance Business line, with teams located in Luxembourg, Switzerland, and France.
You will work closely with the CFOs and management of the entities you are responsible for.
As the Certified Accountant and Regulatory Reporting specialist, you will manage the financial operations (Accounting, Management Accounting, Regulatory Reporting, Tax) of our Portugal-based branches.
Your main responsibilities will include:
Handling daily accounting operations, including general ledger management, bookkeeping, journal entries, and accruals.Managing tax and social security declarations to ensure compliance with local regulations.Overseeing payroll accounting and ensuring accurate processing of salaries and related expenses.Managing accounts payable: processing and recording supplier invoices, handling tax payments, and ensuring timely settlements.Managing accounts receivable: recording client invoices and tracking payments.Contributing to financial reporting for the Group's Finance teams and regulatory reporting (FINREP/COREP, EMF, COPE, CMVM reports, etc.
).Initiating and processing payments in compliance with internal financial controls.Handling management accounting tasks such as budgets, KPIs follow-up, and reporting.Liaising with internal and external auditors and bank control functions.Implementing financial and reporting tools, and participating in transformation projects within a dynamic environment.Europe, Portugal

Certified accountant in Portugal (TOC)
6 - 10 years of experience
Your core competenciesCertified accountant in Portugal (TOC)Experience in the financial sector with regulatory reporting to the Bank of Portugal and CMVMMinimum 5 years' experience in accounting, in an auditing or accounting firm, or banking institutionPractice of tax declarations and reportsIT and data analysis skills for reporting purposes; basic knowledge of IFRSFluency in Portuguese, English, and French would be an assetYou are autonomous, tenacious, and rigorous.
