Main Tasks Analyse business and technical requirements and translate them into robust technical solutions Design, develop and maintain T‐SQL queries and stored procedures in a Sybase environment Maintain, enhance and optimise existing code following best development practices Develop and update Linux shell scripts to support data processing and automation Perform testing activities, including test plan creation and execution Provide Level 3 application support, analysing and resolving complex issues Analyse legacy implementations and propose improved technical solutions Produce clear technical and functional documentation Ensure code quality, performance optimisation and compliance with quality standards Collaborate in a distributed, international environment Your Profile and Skills 5+ years of experience as an Analyst / Developer or similar role Strong expertise in T‐SQL (Sybase) and stored procedure development Practical experience with Linux shell scripting Solid understanding of software development best practices Experience in maintaining and evolving legacy systems Ability to analyse complex business requirements and convert them into technical solutions Experience with testing methodologies, test plans and execution Familiarity with Python, WTX or SAP Business Objects is a plus Comfortable providing Level 3 support in production environments Strong analytical and problem‐solving skills Self‐motivated, results‐driven and well organised Fluent English (spoken and written); French is a plus Hybrid work model with presence required in Lisbon office. #J-18808-Ljbffr
