This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled videographer with documentary experience to join a large-scale project based in Lisbon, Portugal. The role is a full-time contract position requiring on-site presence throughout the duration of the documentary's production. You will collaborate closely with the executive producer to capture compelling footage and help shape the visual narrative of the project. Deliverables
* Capture high-quality video footage on location in Lisbon, adhering to the documentary's creative vision and production schedule
* Collaborate with the executive producer and production team to plan, shoot, and review daily footage
* Set up and operate cameras, lighting, and audio equipment for interviews, b-roll, and live events
* Ensure all footage is properly logged, backed up, and organized for post-production
* Maintain equipment and troubleshoot technical issues as needed
* Provide input on shot selection and visual storytelling during the planning and research phase
Requirements
* Proven experience as a videographer, specifically in documentary filmmaking
* Proficient with professional video cameras, lighting, and audio equipment
* Strong understanding of visual storytelling, composition, and pacing
* Ability to work full-time on-site in Lisbon, Portugal; remote or traveling candidates will not be considered
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to take direction and work independently
* Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
* Availability to begin during the planning and research phase and commit to the full duration of the project
