Job Title: Patient Engagement Specialist
Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Patient Engagement Specialist to join our team. This is a remote position that requires excellent communication skills.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with patients and clinics involved in clinical research trials, as well as proficiency in multiple languages.
* Serve as the primary point of contact for patients, study sites, vendors, and other related parties.
* Scheduling travel and logistics requests for patients enrolled in clinical trials, including arrangements for flights, hotel, ground transportation, and special needs assistance.
* Interaction and management of vendors handling travel requests.
* Review travel requests against study parameters and seek approvals where necessary.
* Processing expense reimbursements to patients for approved expenses.
* Responsible for training study site personnel on how to use the online portal.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide exceptional customer service to patients and clinics.
2. Coordinate travel arrangements and ensure timely completion of tasks.
3. Manage vendor relationships and negotiate proposals.
4. Evaluate and address challenges proactively.
5. Maintain accurate records and reports.
Requirements:
* BS or BA degree or equivalent experience.
* Minimum 3 years of experience in customer service or life sciences industry.
* Fluency in English and French (spoken and written).
* Proficiency in Spanish and Portuguese (a plus).
* Strong computer skills and ability to learn quickly.
