Job Title: Process Optimization Specialist
Opportunity Overview:
This role is focused on simplifying supply management processes for operations through a lean approach, as part of the current workstream on ERP process under shared responsibility of finance and supply management.
The scope is regional, with an initial focus on European countries.
In this position, you will analyze current supply management processes, identify inefficiencies and their root causes, and implement improvements that enhance operational efficiency. You will develop streamlined and standardized processes that reduce administrative burdens, improve communication, and shorten lead times for key tasks such as order processing and invoicing.
Key aspects of the role include leading workshops, training key users, and supporting different countries in formalizing and adopting best practices. You will also build a global network of process experts to facilitate knowledge sharing and accelerate adoption of improvements across regions.
Responsibilities:
* Select and onboard a team to lead a short-term study to build a root cause analysis for European countries, leveraging existing inputs from IS&T, supply, and finance.
* Map root causes, pain points, and country specificities, identifying commonalities.
* Draft and propose a plan of concrete actions to improve current processes on topics including PR/PO approval lead time and compliance, PR/PO specific process alignment with category strategy, good receipt lead time and simplification, invoice matching, vendor creation process simplification in SAP/supporting systems, prioritization of the workplan per country and overall/global, and support to define and drive the overall roadmap.
* Work with subject matter experts and the delivery team to identify and assess potential technology solutions available within Sodexo or utilizing external providers.
* Lead the communication and engagement strategy.
Requirements:
* Strong knowledge of On-Site operations/segment intimacy required.
* Ideal candidates have 5+ years of experience in supply management, lean management, and/or six sigma.
* Knowledge of operational processes and strong knowledge of procure-to-pay process required.
* Process-driven orientation and experience working with cross-functional teams and global stakeholders essential.
* Experience in supporting change at a senior management level with internal and external stakeholders as well as suppliers desired.
* Project Management experience a plus.
* Fluency in English required; ability to speak other European languages a plus.
