Project Coordinator – International Service Contracts
Job Description:
As a Project Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in preparing maintenance events for large rotating equipment. This involves ensuring the availability of parts, suppliers, and field service teams. You will be responsible for travel to various power plants located in Europe and Africa, providing an opportunity to engage with diverse teams and environments.
A Day in the Life:
Your typical working day will be characterized by independent and communicative work. This includes self-directed structuring and prioritization of tasks and daily business. The role is highly diverse, driven by regular interactions and coordination with various departments, such as project management, project execution, engineering, assembly, and tooling, both in a regional and international context.
Management of Sub-Projects:
* You will be responsible for managing sub-projects with increasing complexity and risk.
* You will acquire a broad knowledge of project management and technology on the job and through additional trainings.
* You will strengthen your network and participate in the transformation of our project portfolio.
Requirements:
* Completed a degree in mechanical, electrical, or process engineering, or possess several years of experience in the energy sector.
* Over 3 years of experience as a project manager/project assistant, including collaboration with international teams.
* Proficient in service-specific processes, tools, IT systems, and the Siemens-Energy portfolio.
* Strong understanding of market dynamics, health and safety regulations, and team development.
* Fluent in English, with additional language skills in German, French, or Spanish considered a plus; IPMA certification is advantageous.
* Excellent customer relationship skills, autonomy, creativity, and the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholder relationships.
