Early Years English Teacher
We are seeking a well-qualified and talented Early Years teacher, for a Maternity Cover Contract until the end of the Academic Year, with the possibility to continue. The successful candidate will join our team in May 2025.

About King's College School, Cascais:
Kings College School, Cascais is one of the recent additions to the Inspired Group. The College is currently open to Year 9 and will be opening Year 10 next year. Pupils primarily study the Cambridge International curriculum but will be offering IGCSEs from other examination boards as well. When Year 12 opens in September 2026, the school will be running the International Baccalaureate.
The Role:
* Teach and support early years students (ages 3-5), following the British Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
* Plan and deliver engaging, play-based lessons that stimulate early cognitive, social, and physical development.
* Create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment where young children feel supported and encouraged.
* Foster the development of essential skills such as communication, problem-solving, and social interaction.
* Monitor and assess student progress, providing individualised feedback to support each child's growth.
* Communicate regularly with parents about their child's development and provide advice on supporting learning at home.
* Collaborate with colleagues on developing cross-curricular activities that integrate learning through play.
* Participate in school events and extra-curricular programs, helping to build a sense of community among students and families.
