Lead and expand Accenture's Infrastructure & Cloud business in Portugal by combining technical expertise, commercial drive, and market presence.
Drive business development, delivery oversight, and practice growth, working closely with Accenture Portugal Technology leadership and the Spain Infrastructure team.
This role sits at the intersection of sales, delivery oversight, and practice development, requiring a leader who is equally comfortable in client-facing strategic discussions, partner ecosystem engagement, and building a high-performance local team.
Key Responsibilities Business Development & Sales Drive origination and sales for Infrastructure and Cloud services in alignment with Accenture's Technology and Client Group strategies.
Shape and participate actively in client-facing discussions, proposals, workshops, PoVs, and cloud opportunity qualification.
Collaborate with client account teams, hyperscalers, and internal SMEs to position high-impact solutions.
Identify local opportunities and build commercial campaigns and go-to-market actions for IE&C1 in Portugal
Client & Partner Engagement Build trusted executive relationships with CTOs, CIOs, and Infrastructure leads.
Advise on cloud migration, infrastructure transformation, operating model evolution, and FinOps value cases.
Manage and develop partnerships with key vendors and hyperscalers (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud, VMware, Oracle, Red Hat, IBM).
Practice Leadership Build and grow the Portuguese IE&C1 team (recruiting, mentoring, capability shaping).
Drive skills development and community leadership across cloud infrastructure, automation, and cloud operations.
Act as the point of coordination between the Portugal and the Spain Infrastructure teams to ensure synergy across Iberia.
Delivery Oversight Support delivery excellence by ensuring alignment between client expectations and team capabilities.
Escalation point for major delivery topics or client concerns.
Ensure consistent use of best practices, methodologies (Agile, ITIL, FinOps), and architectural governance.
Candidate Profile Minimum 15 years of experience in IT, with at least 5 years in cloud or hybrid infrastructure roles.
Proven experience managing client relationships, delivering large-scale programs, and growing practices.
Strong consultative sales skills, capable of building business cases, shaping opportunities and influencing client directions
Executive presence and confidence engaging with C-level clients stakeholders and partners.
Demonstrated ability to lead practice or business unit growth in a consulting or integrator environment.
Comfortable balancing P&L responsibility, delivery assurance, and talent development.
Deep expertise in hybrid infrastructure architectures (multi-cloud, on-prem integration), public cloud (Azure, AWS, GCP), and enterprise platforms.
Familiarity with cloud-native application architectures, automation (IaC), and modern operating models
Background in infrastructure: compute, storage, network, automation & IA, workplace and security.
Experience with application modernization, containerization (e.g., Kubernetes), and cloud migration strategies.
Understanding of Agile/Scrum, ITIL/ITOM, FinOps, and cloud operating models.
