The Record to Report (R2R) Senior Accountant will be responsible for day-to-day oversight of Manpower Group’s R2R function, supporting subprocess execution. This role manages process design adherence and drives standardization and automation within GBS. Responsibilities include General, Intercompany, Lease, Fixed Assets, and Capital Projects Accounting, Financial, Statutory, and Regulatory Reporting. The Senior Accountant will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including key stakeholders at all levels, requiring meticulousness, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to articulate complex requirements.
Key Contributions:
GBS / CoE Setup
* Contribute to developing a skilled R2R team through training and shadowing.
* Build positive relationships with each country to facilitate smooth R2R process transitions into GBS / CoE.
* Support the transition team to migrate R2R activities successfully.
Core Responsibilities:
* Serve as the functional Accountant for R2R.
* Ensure quality and timeliness of services provided by the R2R team, including BPO services.
* Coach and mentor R2R Analysts.
* Ensure compliance with Service Partnership Agreements.
* Manage team performance via metrics and KPIs.
* Implement and improve standard R2R processes, evaluating performance and recommending adjustments.
* Partner with MPG business teams to identify process gaps affecting customer experience and service quality.
* Support escalation and exception management within GBS.
* Monitor customer satisfaction and service targets, developing action plans as needed.
* Adhere to MPG policies and maintain internal controls, SOX compliance, and legal requirements.
* Act as primary contact for audit requests.
* Develop and update training materials, SOPs, and work instructions related to R2R.
* Build stakeholder relationships to promote understanding and support for R2R and GBS.
* Work closely with the BPO RTR team to align goals.
* Foster continuous improvement within the R2R team.
* Influence stakeholders and drive organizational change.
* Promote a culture of exceptional customer service.
* Possess in-depth knowledge of R2R best practices and internal controls.
