Hiire is helping Bauer Media Group hire a Full Stack Solutions Engineer to support their mission-critical digital audio services.About Us:Bauer Media Group is one of the largest privately owned media companies, with brands across the globe.Founded in Hamburg in ****, now in its 5th generation, it reaches 200 million consumers worldwide and operates in 14 countries.Bauer Media Audio Portugal has five major brands in its portfolio: Rádio Comercial, M80, Cidade FM, Batida FM, and Smooth FM, all with a strong digital presence.With music as its main focus, these radio stations feature strong personalities who build deep connections with their audiences, going beyond the traditional meaning of radio.Nearly 3 million listeners already consider each station as part of their family — and for Bauer Media, they are all an integral part of the group.Your Mission:Design and deliver scalable digital solutions by combining full stack software engineering with applied AI capabilities, enabling the development of AI-powered products and improving engineering efficiency across teams.Your Role:- Design, develop and maintain backend services and APIs supporting digital platforms and products- Contribute to full stack development, including web applications where required- Build and integrate AI-powered features using LLMs and related technologies- Integrate AI capabilities into existing systems and support new product development- Contribute to solution architecture, ensuring scalability, performance and maintainability- Improve development workflows through the use of AI-assisted coding tools- Support and guide engineering teams in adopting AI tools and best practices- Collaborate with product and technical teams to translate business needs into technical solutions- Document solutions, architecture and best practices to ensure knowledge sharing and continuity- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, including innovation and experimentation with new technologies- Contribute to the evolution of internal platforms and AI-driven capabilities across the organizationJob RequirementsEducational Background:- Preferably a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related fieldProfessional Knowledge and Experiences:- Solid experience in backend development (e.G., Node.Js, Python, Java or similar)- Experience building and consuming APIs in production environments- Experience with full-stack or web development- Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)- Strong understanding of system design and scalable architectures- Hands-on experience with LLMs (e.G., OpenAI, Claude, or similar)- Experience building AI-driven features (prompting, workflows, agents)- Proficiency in using AI tools to support software engineering (e.G., code generation, debugging, refactoring, documentation)Other skills:- Experience with AI-assisted development tools (e.G., GitHub Copilot or similar)- Ability to work across multiple teams and domains- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills- Proactivity and ownership- Clear communicationWorking Pattern / Location:- Hybrid role based in Lisbon: 4 days office / 1 day home.Benefits:- Additional vacation days.
