Senior Mechanical Design Professional

Key Responsibilities:
* Develop detailed engineering for conveying technology systems;
* Analyze layouts and system parts, identifying faults and specific requirements;
* Identify and validate technical specifications;
* Design steelwork (maintenance platforms, crossovers, stairs, etc.);
* Deliver mechanical design documentation for customer approval;
* Coordinate building interfaces (space requirements, architectural clashes, accessibility, safety, etc.);
* Handle both internal and external clients;
* Create and manage installation documentation;
* Manage site problem reports and open points;
* Support installation and commissioning teams on-site when needed.
Required Skills:
* Bachelor's or master's degree in Mechanical Engineering;
* Strong skills in AutoCAD; knowledge of other software (e.g., Inventor, SolidWorks, Revit) is a plus;
* Strong language skills in English, both verbal and written (mandatory);
* Experience in steel structures and layout design;
* Knowledge of mechanical equipment safety standards (e.g., Machinery Directive);
* Team spirit, leadership skills, organizational capacity, and a proactive mindset;
* Willingness to travel locally or internationally for periods of up to 1 month per year;
* Availability to work across different time zones when required;
* Ability to work within an international environment;
* Based in or near the Lisbon Metropolitan Area is preferable.
