About the Job
The role contributes to the implementation and maintenance of a robust financial control environment across Finance, covering all regions and entities, as well as any other entities delegated by the Central team.
The objective is to ensure the accuracy, consistency, and high quality of financial data reported to Head Office and local authorities, while supporting regional Accounting Control teams.
Key Responsibilities
Develop a strong understanding of the accounting control framework and its quality across regions and entities within the assigned scope
Build and maintain a trusted, transparent, and efficient two-way partnership with regional entities and key process stakeholders
Ensure the proper rollout, implementation, and monitoring of the Group Accounting Control Plan across the assigned regions/entities
Perform on-site reviews and audits of accounting control setups (travel required)
Identify, assess, and quantify control deficiencies, preparing clear and concise reports for Senior Management and governance bodies
Ensure Regional Finance teams fully comply with their control responsibilities and with all prescribed control procedures
Collect, review, and analyze FACT certificates from regions and entities
Maintain a strong understanding of key issues and challenges faced by the regions/entities
Contribute to the preparation of periodic and ad-hoc control and governance reports
Monitor and follow up on recommendations issued by General Inspection, Internal Audit, Regulators, and External Auditors
Track Finance-related operational risk incidents, assess their impact on the control framework, and monitor remediation plans and timelines
Organize and chair Internal Control Committee (FORCC) meetings at least quarterly with the regions/entities within scope
Contribute to the Accounting and Financial Risk Committee (AFRiC) for assigned regions and transversal topics
Hold ad-hoc meetings with Regional Finance teams when required
Ensure the effective rollout of any additional Control Plans
Profile and Skills
Master's degree or equivalent qualification
Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in finance, audit, or control
Strong accounting expertise and solid control background
Fluency in English, both written and spoken
Clear, concise, and effective communication skills
Strong team player with the ability to challenge and critically assess information
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a tight-deadline environment
Flexible, well-organized, and methodical approach to work
Curious, detail-oriented, rigorous, reliable, and open-minded

About the Team
The Finance function is composed of a large, international team managing a broad portfolio of entities across multiple regions.
The team's mission is to measure, control, and explain key financial indicators required for accounting, tax, regulatory, liquidity, and credit risk reporting, as well as management performance and results.
