Successful applicants will have/be:
UK trained with a certified teaching qualification, such as B.Ed, PGCE, PGDE or equivalent (PGCE/PGDE must be accompanied by a subject relevant Bachelor's Degree).
at least 3 years experience of teaching in the UK.
exceptional subject knowledge.
experience of teaching Science (Biology, Chemistry & Physics) in Key Stage 3.
experience of teaching Chemistry in Key Stage 4 (I/GCSE).
able to teach Biology in Key Stage 4 (I/GCSE).
able to teach Physics in Key Stage 4 (I/GCSE).
experience of teaching Chemistry in Key Stage 5 (AS/A Level).
a proven track record of providing outstanding teaching and learning.
a high level of written and spoken English.
committed to ensuring high standards of teaching and learning.
collaborative and able to work as part of a team.
inter-culturally aware with well-developed interpersonal skills.
a willingness to contribute in a positive manner to all aspects of the school vision, including extra-curricular activities.
It is desirable that candidates have/are:
experience of teaching Biology in Key Stage 4 (I/GCSE).
experience of teaching Physics in Key Stage 4 (I/GCSE).
ability to teach Biology and/or Physics in Key Stage 5 (AS/A Level).
experience of teaching in an international setting.
first aid trained.
child protection trained.
