PJoin the transformation of global shared services from our new GBS hub in Portugal! /ppbr/ppstrongYour new Company: /strong /ppA global industrial company is expanding its Global Business Services (GBS) operations and establishing a regional GBS satellite in Portugal to support Europe operations. /ppbr/ppThis is your opportunity to join at the ground level and help shape GBS from the inside out! /ppbr/ppbr/ppstrongYour new Role: /strong /ppAs anstrong O2C Senior Accountant /strong, you will carry out Sales and Billing activities, including working with internal and external customers in the billing process to guarantee accuracy, maximise the collection of cash and reduce overdue debt. /ppbr/ppYour responsibilities will include: /pulliUndertake order management (Process sales order, Chase project managers and administrators to update project). /liliCreate and distribute invoices. /liliReporting: e.g. outstanding overdue reports (Services). /liliManage dunning and cash collection tasks including dispute. /liliSupporting employee onboarding and training. /liliIdentifying and implementing tactical performance improvements. /liliBeing a subject matter expert including participating in project work as required. /liliComplete sales ledger responsibility, including processing sales order, cash collection sales ledger integrity. /liliAchieve agreed collection targets. /liliEnsure correct procedures and processes are in place as per credit policy, and chase payments from customers on a regular basis. /liliEnsure that all business queries are resolved within agreed timeframes. /liliEnsure all client queries are resolved within agreed timeframes. /liliTake ownership of targets and objectives. /li /ulpbr/ppbr/ppstrongWhat you will need to be successful: /strong /pulliAccounting qualification would be a plus. /lili2-5 years’ of Sales Administration or O2C experience. Experience of working in a finance environment; numerate with the ability to understand, interpret and communicate complex accounts and financial reports. /liliComprehensive knowledge of Order to Cash Process and procedure is essential, along with the ability to demonstrate excellent customer service skills. /liliStrong command of verbal and written Spanish and English (mandatory); /liliExcellent IT skills including Excel. /liliGood systems knowledge, preferably experience working with SAP. /liliProven track record of achieving KPI’s. /liliDeliver to strict guidelines and to tight deadlines. /liliMust be able to demonstrate a high standard of communications skills, with the ability to identify the optimum communication channel as well as excellent customer service skills. /liliProactive, responsive and action orientated. /liliAn individual team player meeting the demands of both. /li /ulpbr/ppbr/ppstrongWhat the Company can offer you: /strong /pulliBe at the heart of enabling global GBS operations; /liliWork in a multicultural, global team environment; /liliShape the employee and customer experience agenda in a growing organization. /li /ul
