Job Purpose:
The FP&A Analyst is responsible for providing support to the FP&A department in the areas of financial planning, analysis and reporting. They will also work with other departments to ensure that the company's financial plans are aligned with its strategic goals.
Core Responsibilities:
- Developing Financial Models: Developing and maintaining financial models to forecast future financial performance and analyze historical financial data.
- Collaborating with Senior Financial Analysts: Liaising with Senior Financial Analyst in supporting the Brand functional teams and the Finance Business Partners developing some critical plans - Long Range Plan, annual plans, monthly revenue estimates, and forecasts.
- Financial Reporting: Preparing financial reports to communicate the company's financial performance to management and other stakeholders.
- Analyzing Financial Data: Analyzing financial data to identify trends, patterns and risks.
- Providing Financial Insights: Providing financial insights to help management make informed decisions about the company's finances.
- Aligning Financial Plans: Working with other departments to ensure that the company's financial plans are aligned with its strategic goals.
- Budgeting Process: Supporting the budgeting process to develop the company's budget and to track its progress.
- Decision-Making Analysis: Providing analysis for decision-making to help management make decisions about pricing, product development, and other strategic initiatives.
- Risk Management: Supporting Senior Financial Analyst to manage risk to identify and manage potential threats to the company's financial performance.
- Compliance: Adhering to financial regulations ensuring that the company complies with financial regulations.
- FP&A Projects: Leading projects related to FP&A. This may involve developing new financial models, implementing new financial reporting systems or conducting financial analysis for strategic initiatives.
Technical Competencies:
- Relevant combined work experience within decision support functions at medium or large companies with international operations.
- Experience providing critical input to the senior leadership level and other members of regional Level Management regarding the company's financial performance, including actions related to the plan.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with a specific ability to articulate complex topics to business users.
