What We're Looking For (Hard Skills) • Proven experience with SQL Server 2019+ multi-instance and high availability environments. Expertise with Installation, Configuration, Patching, Backups/Restores, Snapshots, Rollbacks are required. Very solid security knowledge and creativity for ensuring data safety. Strong expertise with SQL Server performance optimization on index level (rowstore, columnstore, fulltext, in-memory) as well as deep understanding of the statistics. Experience with partitioning is a bonus point. Great observability knowledge (starting with the knowledge of the relevant SQL Server DMVs). Outstanding T-SQL knowledge with SQL Server 2019+. Experience with PaaS is greatly appreciated. Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and DevOps practices is not required but preferred. Good knowledge and experience with PostgreSQL and Power BI are strong differentiation points but are not required. Public Cloud experience (great understanding of Compute, Storage, Networking, Identity, etc) is a differentiation point. Minimum 5 years of professional experience in an Enterprise environment OR 7 years in any industry sector. Fluency in English and Portuguese. Spanish language knowledge is a big plus.
