Enterprise Risk & Internal Controls Analyst
This is an ideal role for a recent graduate or early-career professional with a strong interest in financial processes, compliance, and business operations. As an Enterprise Risk & Internal Controls Analyst, you will support the team in designing, documenting, and monitoring key financial and operational controls.
Main Responsibilities:
* Control Matrix Documentation: Assist in updating risk and control matrices for key business processes such as Purchase-to-Pay, Order-to-Cash, and Hire-to-Retire.
* Control Testing: Support control testing activities including design and operational effectiveness, evidence gathering, testing execution, and results tracking.
* AuditBoard Platform Management: Maintain the platform by entering control data, updating test results, and supporting reporting needs.
* Process Walkthroughs and Interviews: Participate in walkthroughs and interviews with process owners to understand how controls operate in practice.
* Presentation and Reporting: Assist in preparing presentations, dashboards, and control performance reports for senior stakeholders.
* Action Plan Tracking: Contribute to the follow-up of audit and control deficiencies, tracking action plans and remediation efforts.
* Documentation Standardization: Support the standardization of documentation and templates across countries and business units.
Requirements:
* Education: University degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Accounting, or a related field; professional certification is a strong asset.
* Experience: Minimum of 2 years' experience in external or internal audit, with solid knowledge of internal control frameworks and principles.
* Finance IT Knowledge: Hands-on experience in Finance IT or ERP system implementations, ideally from a risk or controls perspective.
* Industry Experience: Industry experience in healthcare, pharmaceuticals, or diagnostics is preferred.
* Skills: Proactive, curious, and solution-oriented mindset with the ability to translate risks into actionable solutions. Strong analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills; ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
You will work closely with three Senior Internal Controls Specialists and gain exposure to a wide variety of processes across the business, developing your skills in internal controls, process improvement, and enterprise systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in financial processes, compliance, and business operations.
