Aubay Portugal is a multinational company, in Portugal since 2007. We have offices in Lisbon and Oporto and we are a specialized consultant in Management, Implementation, Development and Maintenance of Information Systems. We have more than 150 active partners and we operate in sectors such as banking, insurance, telecommunications, services, energy and transports.
As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining robust Java applications (Backend or Fullstack); Participating in the creation of a new Center of Excellence for a leading multinational fintech company; Working on end-to-end software development, from analysis and design to implementation, testing, and deployment; Ensuring code quality, scalability, and performance across distributed systems; Collaborating with cross-functional teams in an agile environment; Contributing to continuous integration, delivery, and improvement processes.
Required Skills & Qualifications
* Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in Java development (Java ≥ 8);
* Experience in Frontend (Angular or any other UI framework is accepted);
* Experience with Spring / Spring Boot ;
* Knowledge in application architecture (microservices-based, hexagonal, etc.);
* Experience with CI/CD practices;
* Knowledge of AWS or other cloud platforms (valued);
* English level: B2 or higher;
* Mandatory presence in Portugal for at least 6 months prior to application;
* First 3–4 months: mandatory 4x/week onsite, following months: 3x/week onsite.
