Your contribution to something big: As part of our Center of Engineering development team, you will drive mechanical product development through simulation-driven design and engineering excellence.
Working in a cross-functional, international environment, you'll play a key role in delivering innovative, cost-optimized solutions validated through Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and rigorous testing.
Your responsibilities will include: Designing and developing mechanical components and assemblies from concept to release Performing static and dynamic FEA simulations to validate design performance Creating 3D CAD models, detailed technical drawings, and engineering documentation Conducting tolerance analysis (2D, 3D, statistical) to ensure manufacturability and fit Writing technical reports and presenting findings for design reviews and decision-making Collaborating with testing teams and managing the build and validation of prototypes Supporting cost optimization efforts through comparison studies and design iteration Specifying materials and applying GD&T principles aligned with manufacturing processes Creating and maintaining component specifications and Bills of Materials (BOM) Applying engineering best practices like FMEA, DRBFM, and risk management What distinguishes you: Education : Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field Experience : Preferably 5+ years of experience in mechanical product development and simulation Know-how Strong expertise in FEA (Static & Dynamic) and simulation software (preferably ANSYS, Siemens NX Nastran) Proficiency with CAD software (preferably Siemens Unigraphics/NX) and PLM tools (Teamcenter) Experience in material selection, tolerance analysis, and manufacturing process integration Solid understanding of engineering methods such as FMEA, DRBFM, and root cause analysis Languages : Fluent in English (written and spoken); additional languages are a plus Working Style and Methods : Structured problem-solver with an analytical mindset, strong attention to detail and goal-oriented approach Personality : Collaborative, communicative, interest in working in international and cross-functional teams Benefits: Health insurance and medical office on site (general surgeon, psychology, physiotherapy, general clinic) Training opportunities (e.G., technical training, foreign languages training) & certifications Opportunities for career progression and continuous professional development Access to great discounts in partnerships and Bosch products Sports and health-related activities Success stories don't just happen.
