At the forefront of digital transformation, our team seeks a talented individual to assume the role of OSI PI Engineer. This position offers the opportunity to join a dynamic multidisciplinary team operating across multiple sites. The successful candidate will be an integral member of the support team responsible for monitoring the OSI PI system to ensure continuous production at the manufacturing site.
* Support site vertical integration defined by the project manager or lead engineer.
* Create/Update configuration and validation documents related to the OSI PI system.
* Execute validation as defined in the change control.
* Ensure data integrity and consistency by implementing data quality control measures and monitoring data validation processes.
* Collaborate with automation infrastructure teams to manage system upgrades, patches, and performance optimizations for the OSI PI system.
* Handling and addressing tickets or issues associated with the OSI PI system.
* Provide maintenance to the OSI PI system to ensure system availability 24/7.
* Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory requirements related to data engineering and manufacturing systems.
* Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities to enhance data management processes, system performance, and user experience.
To succeed in this role, you will require:
* Experience working with the OSI PI system, ideally within the pharmaceutical industry.
* Understanding of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes, including batch processing, equipment automation, and data acquisition systems.
* Proficiency in data engineering concepts, data integration, and data management best practices.
* Ability to multitask, manage multiple projects, and prioritize tasks in a busy environment.
* Experience with programming languages (e.g., Python, SQL, scripting) is advantageous.
* Experience with ticketing systems such as ServiceNow or similar.
