Key Responsibilities:
* Monthly payroll processing, submission of mandatory declarations (Social Security, Tax Authority), and coordination with the Finance team for provisions and tax payments.
* Management of employment contracts, hires and terminations, leaves and vacations, employee records, and administrative onboarding of newly acquired companies.
* Respond to authorities such as the Labour Authority, Social Security, and Tax Authority; manage internship programs (e.g. IEFP); liaise with external providers and support audits.
* Oversee mandatory insurance (e.g. work accidents), employee benefits (e.g. Coverflex, transport), and maintain partnerships for employee perks (e.g. gyms, education).
* Ensure compliance with occupational health regulations, coordinate medical check-ups and mandatory training, and report/follow up on work-related accidents.
* Manage vehicle contracts, maintenance, and usage compliance with internal policies and tax requirements.
* Plan training sessions and support internal initiatives, including onboarding and company culture events.
* Produce reports and track key HR metrics such as absenteeism, turnover, and average personnel costs to support decision-making.
Profile:
* Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Law or similar.
* Minimum 4 years of experience in HR operations and payroll.
* Solid knowledge of Portuguese labour law, Social Security, and Tax Authority procedures.
* Experience with HRIS and payroll systems (e.g. Primavera, PHC, SAP).
* Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and discretion in handling sensitive information.
* Proactive mindset and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
* Fluency in Portuguese and English (written and spoken).
* Comfortable liaising with external entities (ACT, Social Security, AT) and service providers.
* Experience with audits, reporting, and benefits administration is a plus.
