In this hands-on role, you'll support lab operations, conduct experiments, and assist in pilot-scale processes for biomass treatment and protein extraction.
You'll be a key player in developing sustainable food ingredients from start to finish.Key ResponsibilitiesFollow SOPs, improve protocols for efficiency/quality, and collect and manage data accurately.Prepare and analyze samples using techniques like gravimetry and spectrophotometry.Handle lab equipment (centrifuge, microscope, freeze-dryer) and maintain a clean workspace.Prepare reagents, buffers, and solutions.Conduct protein extraction, cell lysis, membrane filtration, and other product development tasks.Support pilot-scale biomass treatment and food ingredient production.Work flexible hours, including weekends, as needed.Manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.RequirementsLaboratory Analysis Technician certification or equivalent.1+ years of experience in a scientific lab (Food Science, Chemistry, Pharmacy, Microbiology).Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).Good communication skills in English.Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work independently and as part of a team.Comfortable in a fast-paced, evolving environment.Familiarity with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP).Ability to work in a lab setting and stand/sit for extended periods.Desirable SkillsHands-on experience with protein extraction or food ingredient processing (bench-scale or pilot-scale).BenefitsEmployee Stock Ownership Program.Personal Health InsuranceOpportunity to grow with a rapidly expanding company.Contribute to a mission that improves lives and protects the planet.If you're passionate about sustainable food innovation and have the skills to excel in this role, we'd love to hear from you!
