Value Realization – Director

Mission of the Role: will establish, lead, and operationalize Visteon's Value Realization Office (VRO) to ensure that ERP, SAP S/4HANA, and digital transformation programs deliver tangible, sustained business impact aligned to our global strategy.

This role partners closely with Finance, Supply Chain, IT, and global business process owners to define value drivers, create governance, and embed data-driven continuous improvement into the enterprise operating model.

Key Objectives of this Role:

1. Value Strategy & Governance

* Establish and lead the Value Realization Office (VRO) overseeing value definition, tracking, and governance across SAP and ERP programs.
* Facilitate alignment between business strategy, ERP roadmap, and measurable value outcomes (financial, operational, and customer).
* Implement a value governance model aligned to Visteon's Vision to Value framework, ensuring value is delivered before, during, and after system implementation.
* Partner with Finance to convert soft efficiencies (cycle time, accuracy, automation potential) into hard value (cost reduction, FTE optimization, quality improvements).
* Drive executive-level value reviews and quarterly business performance discussions.

2. Value Identification & Business Case Leadership

* Define enterprise value drivers for ERP-enabled transformation across Finance, OTC, Procurement, Supply Chain, HR, and Engineering.
* Create standardized value hypotheses, business cases, and ROI tracking mechanisms for major process areas.
* Lead cross-functional workshops to identify process improvement opportunities, leveraging tools such as process mining (e.g., Celonis), data analytics, and benchmarking.

3. Transformation Execution & Change Leadership

* Establish and execute a repeatable Value Pipeline Process with intake, prioritization, and benefit qualification.
* Support process owners in designing global processes that eliminate waste and maximize SAP capability adoption.
* Ensure value is embedded into project charters, design decisions, change control, and release schedules.
* Partner with HR on change management & capability building to scale adoption of new digital ways of working.

4. Performance Analytics & Continuous Improvement

* Develop Value Realization dashboards integrating KPIs, baselines, targets, and benefits tracking.
* Use data to validate root causes, quantify impact, and identify improvement opportunities.
* Drive continuous improvement cycles with measurable operational gains (cycle time reduction, automation uplift, improved compliance).
* Benchmark Visteon against industry peers to sustain competitive advantage in digital operations.

5. Stakeholder Partnership & Executive Influence

* Build strong, trust-based relationships with CIO, CFO, Business Process Owners, and Senior Directors across global regions.
* Serve as the enterprise advisor on ERP-enabled value—shifting leaders from project thinking to impact thinking.
* Present value outcomes to executive committees, ensuring transparency and shared accountability.

Key Performance Indicators

* Value Defined: Enterprise value drivers and measurable success outcomes established for all major process areas.
* Value Delivered: Demonstrated cost savings, productivity gains, cycle-time reduction, automation uplift, and quality improvements.
* Value Sustained: Post-go-live benefits tracked quarterly and realized through governance.
* Value Scaled: Value Realization Office becomes an institutional capability replicated across regions and functions.

Key Year One Deliverables

Shift Visteon from "ERP implementation" to "enterprise value realization," embedding measurable impact into every stage of the digital transformation lifecycle.

Qualification, Experience and Skills

* Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, Engineering, Data Science, Finance, or related field; Master's preferred.
* 12+ years in business transformation, ERP-enabled change, digital operations, or performance improvement.
* Experience with value realization, process transformation, or operational excellence programs.
* Hands-on experience with SAP ecosystems; knowledge of S/4HANA platform capabilities.
* Strong analytical skills; ability to structure business cases and quantify benefits.
* Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional leaders and drive accountability.

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience with process mining tools (e.g., Celonis) and Lean/agile transformation is highly desired.
* Experience in global manufacturing, automotive, or high-tech organizations.
* Background working in or alongside management consulting (Deloitte, PwC, etc.).
* Prior role as Business Value Lead, Transformation Lead, Process Owner, or equivalent.
* Exposure to enterprise data strategy, AI/ML-enabled process improvement, or enterprise analytics.
* Certifications in Lean, Six Sigma, ScrumMaster, or Change Management.
