Job Overview
Develops, integrates and provides short-term accounts or brand specific forecasts for internal operations.
Your main tasks
- Develop, maintain, and improve demand forecasts using historical sales data, statistical models, and business insights
- Analyze forecast accuracy, identify drivers of variance, and recommend corrective actions
- Partner with Sales, Marketing, Supply Planning, and Finance to align on assumptions, promotions, and market changes
- Support the S&OP / IBP process by preparing demand scenarios, insights, and executive level summaries
- Monitor customer, product, and regional demand patterns to detect risks and opportunities early
- Maintain demand planning tools, reports, and dashboards to support monthly and weekly planning cycles
- Support new product introductions, phase outs, and changes in portfolio demand
- Provide data driven recommendations to improve service levels, inventory performance, and overall forecast reliability
Your ideal Background
- Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of experience in demand planning, forecasting, supply chain analytics, or a related analytical role
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret large datasets and translate insights into actions
- Proficiency in Excel and experience working with ERP or planning systems (e.g., demand planning, MRP, DRP)
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate cross functionally
- Familiarity with SAP IBP and analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, SQL)
- Experience supporting S&OP or IBP processes
