Job Description
At Aubay Portugal, we are seeking a skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience with scripting languages and operational systems. They will be responsible for developing comprehensive test plans and executing integration tests to validate the interaction between different software modules.
The successful candidate will perform manual testing to ensure thorough coverage, identify, document, and track defects using bug tracking tools, implement and maintain automated integration tests using internal tools available, work closely with development teams to understand integration points and dependencies, track and report on test progress, coverage, and results, and continuously improve testing processes and methodologies.
* Develop comprehensive test plans and strategies for integration testing;
* Execute integration tests to validate the interaction between different software modules;
* Perform manual testing to ensure thorough coverage;
* Identify, document, and track defects using bug tracking tools;
* Implement and maintain automated integration tests using internal tools available;
* Work closely with development teams to understand integration points and dependencies;
* Track and report on test progress, coverage, and results;
* Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies.
Requirements:
* Experience with scripting languages such as Python, and operative systems such as Linux;
* Experience with functional testing;
* Minimum of 3 years working experience testing Back-end/middleware system applications;
* Fluent in English.
