About the Job
As a Sales Manager, you will play a key role in driving our business development and energy project delivery in Portugal. You will work closely with technical and corporate teams for support and reporting directly to the Portuguese Sales Director.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and analyze market opportunities to expand our presence in Portugal.
- Define and implement local business strategy and co-develop the commercial action plan in line with company objectives.
- Build a network of partners (business advisors, EPC contractors, and solar PV companies) and grow a strong portfolio of B2B customers.
- Manage and follow up on key accounts, establishing long-term strategic relationships.
- Engage proactively with customers, maintaining regular communication and visits.
- Lead the preparation of commercial offers and proposals with support from technical and financial teams, including business plans.
- Represent us in professional events, fairs, and local organizations to strengthen brand presence.
Requirements
- 2–3+ years of proven experience in Sales, preferably in renewable energy, solar PV, or energy efficiency sectors.
- Strong knowledge of the Portuguese B2B market landscape in solar PV and related energy solutions.
- Comfortable working with financial models and PPA business plans.
- Excellent relationship-building skills and a strong professional network.
- Entrepreneurial spirit, proactive in generating leads and driving opportunities.
- Organized, autonomous, and result-driven.
- Languages: Portuguese, fluent English; French is a plus.
