Responsibilities:
1. Ensure the maintenance, service, repair, and troubleshooting of all equipment and installations (mechanical / electrical / instrumentation) on site are performed according to Standard Operating Procedures, Work Instructions, or engineering best practices.
2. Participate in risk assessments of work permits and ensure their proper execution.
3. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and lean tools within the area.
4. Participate in Quality Assurance and HSE programs, ensuring timely implementation of corrective actions.
5. Assist in training junior maintenance team members in their areas of expertise.
6. Ensure all required documentation, whether paper-based or system-based, related to own and area work is correctly completed.
7. Maintain proper tidiness and cleanliness of equipment and work areas.
8. Assist in the analysis and investigation of irregularities or CAPAs related to the area.
9. Follow established procedures and processes, interpreting instructions, drawings, and technical documentation of equipment.
10. Resolve non-complex problems related to discipline; refer more complex issues to the line manager or technical team.
Candidate Requirements:
- Technical course(s) or apprenticeship in relevant fields (e.g., mechanics, electricians, hydraulics, pneumatics, instrumentation, automation).
- Experience in a manufacturing maintenance environment, preferably in a regulated industry.
- Knowledge or experience with process systems and tools used in maintenance (mechanical, electrical, instrumentation).
- Experience with hazardous area maintenance.
- Understanding of GMP regulations.
- Knowledge of mechanics, electricity, and instrumentation.
- Basic arithmetic skills.
- Computer literacy, preferably with SAP experience.
- Clear and effective communication skills (written and verbal).
- Ability to perform tasks according to rules and procedures, with the necessary experience and skills.
