As a Personal Data Protection Analyst, you will play a key role in ensuring that dailyGDPR business-as-usual activities are executed within the 1st Line of Defense (1LoD). You will support CIB clients in achieving compliance with Privacy by Design principles and other data protection requirements, working closely with the CIB Central Data Office, the SPOC network (1LoD), and the DPC/DPO network (2LoD).
This role requires both strong technical expertise in data privacy and GDPR as well as excellent communication and organizational skills, as you will interact with diverse stakeholders across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure CIB project validation processes comply with Privacy by Design principles, supporting Project Managers in data protection activities.
- Manage internal and external requests in the CIB GDPR DESK inbox, including Data Subject Rights Requests.
- Prepare and publish the CIB GDPR DESK periodic report and maintain a dedicated SharePoint space.
- Contribute to the dissemination of a culture of personal data protection within CIB.
- Develop and share best practices with the data protection network.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in data privacy, including significant hands-on work with EU GDPR.
- Academic background or certification related to EU GDPR (mandatory).
- Knowledge of other global privacy laws and regulations is a strong plus.
Technical Skills
- Full proficiency with the MS Office Suite.
- Proficiency with project management tools and methodologies.
Language Skills
- Fluent English (C1–C2), both written and spoken.
Soft Skills
- Excellent writing, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail, with a high sense of rigor and organization.
- Ability to synthesize and simplify complex concepts for senior stakeholders.
- Proactive mindset, able to leverage transversal networks.
- High adaptability and ability to work in a changing environment.
