NEYA Hotels is recruiting a Senior Purchasing Technician to join their team. NEYA Hotels is a hotel chain operating under a sustainability concept, aiming to contribute to a more sustainable future through policies that minimize environmental impacts.
This role focuses on internal procurement, collaborating with a department where sustainable supply chain practices are prioritized. The role involves establishing productive relationships with suppliers, continuous improvement, and rigorous evaluation based on ESG criteria.
Main Responsibilities
1. Procurement of new products and suppliers based on various sustainability criteria
2. Negotiation of commercial conditions
3. Monitoring of the annual purchase forecast
4. Launching tenders to the market
5. Registration of articles and suppliers
6. Database maintenance
7. Pricing, margin management, and KPI monitoring
8. Business unit inventories
9. Procurement procedures and processes in accordance with ESG criteria
Requirements
* Experience of 8 to 10 years
* Experience in stock and warehouse management, as well as inventory systems
* Degree, preferably in engineering (Food, Zootécnica, or Process)
* Fluent English and proficient Spanish
* Computer skills including advanced Excel
* Experience in database architecture and GIS implementation
* Experience in process design and implementation
* Training and experience in HACCP and Food Safety
* Ability to prepare reports and analysis
* Familiarity with KPI monitoring
* Skills in various management software
* Planning skills
* Teamwork, openness to ideas, and autonomy
