Your mission, roles and responsibilities
Join Appning! Appning provides access to 23 different car brands' experiences. It connects OEMs and app developers to help shape the future of connected cars. We work with OEMs to create personalized experiences that meet clients’ demands, ensuring seamless home-to-car continuity and ongoing connectivity through our scalable and adaptable solutions. We are looking for an Android Support Analyst L2 eager to take on one of the biggest challenges in the automotive industry!
Overall responsibilities and duties:
1. Perform detailed technical analysis of system and application logs to identify root causes and recommend scalable solutions.
2. Collaborate with QA and Android Engineers to diagnose defects.
3. Identify recurring issues and propose long-term solutions and process improvements.
4. Document technical findings, including root cause analysis and resolutions.
5. Enhance internal knowledge bases with support from Android engineers.
6. Approach issues with a problem-solving mindset and document findings clearly.
7. Maintain accurate issue and solution records in the ticketing system.
8. Report findings with detailed descriptions, screenshots, videos, and logs.
9. Adhere to Forvia's Code of Ethics and Code of Management daily, ensuring compliance and integrity.
10. Perform other related tasks as needed to support team and organizational goals.
Your profile and competencies to succeed
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
2. 3+ years of experience in Android or QA roles.
3. Strong English communication skills.
4. Experience in agile, cross-functional teams.
5. Proficient with Android emulators and ADB commands.
6. Deep understanding of Android standards and best practices.
7. Experience with reverse engineering tools.
8. Proficient in log analysis tools.
9. Excellent problem-solving, documentation, and collaboration skills.
Nice to Have:
