Mission: Assists in leading all day-to-day activities related to sales with a focus on building long-term, value-based customer relationships that enable achievement of sales objectives. Manages the property's reactive and proactive sales efforts and provides day to day leadership to sales associates to achieve property sales objectives.
Job Summary:
Works collaboratively with off-property sales channels to ensure sales efforts are coordinated, complementary and not duplicative;Builds and strengthens relationships with existing and new customers to enable future bookings. Activities include sales calls, entertainment, FAM trips, trade shows, etc;Identifies new business to achieve personal and location revenue goals;Understands the overall market – competitors' strengths and weaknesses, economic trends, supply, and demand etc. and knows how to sell against them;Participates in sales calls with members of sales team to acquire new business and/or close on business;Executes and supports the operational aspects of business booked (e.g., generating proposal, writing contract, customer correspondence);Attends sales strategy meetings to provide input on weekly and overall sales strategy;Suggests innovative marketing ideas and develops deployment strategies to continue to grow market share;Monitors the effective resolution of guest issues that arise because of the sales process by creating mechanisms to channel issues to property leadership and/or other appropriate stakeholders;Maintains successful performance by increasing revenues, controlling expenses, and providing a return on investment for the owner;Implements the brand's service strategy and applicable brand initiatives in all aspects of the sales process and focuses on building long-term, value-based customer relationships that enable achievement of the hotel's' sales objectives. Requirements:
People orientated leadership skills;Attention to detail and high organizational skills;Strong sense of responsibility and rigor. Education/Professional Experience:
Specialized High School Degree or Bachelor Degree;3-5 years previous experience in the function. Language Skills:
- Excellent communication skills in Portuguese and English (mandatory).
