Financial Project Specialist
We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our Pricing and Contract Management department.
About the Role:
* This position involves performing financial feasibility analysis related to customer contracts.
* The successful candidate will support contract pricing both internally and externally.
* They will work closely with the commercial team to provide data and support customer negotiations.
* Key responsibilities include elaborating financial projects for new contracts or renewals of existing ones.
* The Financial Project Specialist will analyze pricing results and benchmarks with existing businesses.
* They will present analysis conclusions to relevant PCM Managers or VP of PCM for validation and approval.
* The role also involves preparing final proposals to be sent to customers.
* The specialist will review proposals upon customer feedback and commercial challenges.
* Initiating and reviewing the financial project cycle, including technical, raw material, and financial inputs is also a key responsibility.
* The successful candidate will collect and analyze information from previous years for customer contract renewal.
* They will also collect and analyze existing contracts or past proposals for the same customer.
* Elaborating different financial and commercial scenarios is an essential part of this role.
* The specialist will elaborate feasibility studies for specific internal or external requests.
* Documentation of all project decisions and proposal framework for historical records is critical.
Supporting Commercial Activities:
* Regularly update pricing according to contractual agreements.
* Calculate reconciliation amounts (volume, bonus/penalties) for accrual posting.
* Send necessary information to the Planning & Controlling department.
* Simulation impacts on request for scenarios out of scope of contract rules.
* Participate in customer meetings as support to the commercial team or business review meetings upon request.
Internal Stakeholders Support:
* Provide day-to-day support for Pricing and Contract Management activities related to price or invoice issues.
* Liaise with internal stakeholders (finance and commercial department).
* Gather all relevant contractual information and update the PCM contractual data repository.
* Maintain the Database repository each month.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Finance or a related field.
* 4-6 years of experience in Auditing or Consulting.
* Previous contact with an industrial environment.
* A high level of Excel knowledge is mandatory.
* Availability to travel abroad.
* Organization and analytical skills.
* Proactive attitude and ability to work with minimal guidance.
* Good verbal and written communication skills.
* Commitment, teamwork, and cooperation are essential.
