About the Opportunity
A Driscoll's Network Administrator is a technical professional with specialized skills and knowledge of the network components required to interconnect the users, sites, services, and applications necessary to operate our global enterprise. Our Network Administrators design and build the network components with security, reliability, and performance in mind always, so that our operations are safe, resilient, and effective.
Responsibilities
1. Build, configure, and troubleshoot global LAN, WAN, and wireless infrastructure to ensure high availability, security, and resilience.
2. Monitor, analyze, and resolve incidents reported by end-users or monitoring tools; manage escalations with third-party providers and vendors.
3. Manage SLAs using ServiceNow, ensuring timely resolution of incidents, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement of processes and tools.
4. Maintain and optimize network performance through proactive monitoring, capacity planning, and automation opportunities.
5. Administer disaster recovery, redundancy, patching, and firmware upgrades to keep systems secure and compliant.
6. Audit, document, and align all network configurations to established standards, providing feedback for improvement
7. Deliver clear reporting on incidents, network status, and performance metrics while driving initiatives to enhance service, efficiency, and customer experience
8. Strong teamwork mindset with a focus on collaboration across Information Services (IS) departments and internal business units
9. Passion for investigating and simplifying operations to drive efficiency within modern networks
Candidate Profile
Academic Degree:
10. BS/BA in computer related field of study
Professional experience:
11. 5+ years of experience with configuration with at least 2 of the core networking products, such as: Cisco Catalyst Switching, Aruba Wireless and Aruba Central, Palo Alto Firewalls, ION SD-WAN, SolarWinds Orion and NewRelic NPM Tools, Out of Band Appliances.
12. 5+ years of relevant network, IS/IT, security, or other production service design, build, and support.
Areas of experience:
13. 5+ years network administration, with, Switching, SD-WAN, Firewalling and Wireless, preferably Cisco, Palo Alto and Aruba.
14. Knowledge of Structured Cabling Systems, data wiring, and fiber optics.
15. Knowledge of the protocols and services, VLAN, trunks, ether-channels, STP, VTP, VRF, ARP, DNS, DHCP, HSRP, VRRP.
16. Incident Management experience within the ITIL V4 framework – knowledge of ServiceNow is a plus.
High level understanding of various WAN technologies, including fiber optic, cable, wireless, cellular, and satellite (LEO and geostationary).

17. Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNA),
Advanced English written and verbal communication is mandatory, as well as fluency in Portuguese.
