We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Industrial Controlling Manager & Business Partner to lead the Team of Industrial Controllers for the ECS & Food Home & Personal Care. In this role, you will serve as a strategic business partner to the Supply Chain leadership team, supporting the full value chain from budgeting and performance analysis to operational efficiency and digital transformation.
You will be responsible for driving financial visibility, shaping strategic decisions, and fostering a culture of ownership and performance accountability across manufacturing and supply chain operations. This role is instrumental in achieving cost optimization, enhancing productivity, and strengthening financial governance.
Your Mission
Leadership
& Team Management
1. Lead, mentor, and develop a team of skilled industrial controllers in alignment with the department's mission.
2. Foster a performance-driven and collaborative team culture with a focus on continuous improvement and innovation.
3. Ensure team members have clear objectives, development plans, and access to the necessary tools to succeed.
Business Partnering
4. Participate in defining the industrial and supply chain strategy by assessing the financial implications of strategic choices.
5. Act as a key financial advisor to the Manufacturing and Supply Chain functions, supporting decision-making through high-quality financial analysis and insight.
6. Ensure end-to-end P&L accountability and visibility for the Supply Chain.
7. Promote financial acumen and cost awareness within the operations community, empowering teams to take ownership of their financial performance.
Controlling & Performance Management
8. Lead the development and implementation of efficient controlling processes and reporting tools across manufacturing sites.
9. Lead local budgeting and forecasting processes, including assumption validation and alignment with business plans.
10. Ensure On-Time In-Full (OTIF) monthly financial closing with accurate and transparent reporting.
11. Deliver key manufacturing controlling KPIs, with in-depth variance analysis and performance outlooks.
12. Own and manage project deviation monitoring, including root cause analysis (RCA) and resolution follow-up
Compliance & Governance
13. Ensure full compliance with corporate financial policies, local regulations, and tax/legal requirements.
14. Support both internal and external audit processes, ensuring timely and accurate documentation.
15. Maintain and reinforce strong internal control frameworks to safeguard the integrity of financial data and assets.
Transformation & Digitalization
16. Champion World Class Manufacturing (WCM) financial practices and contribute actively to implementation across the manufacturing sites.
17. Lead the rollout of digital finance tools (e.g., RPA, BI, Qlik Sense), improving automation and real-time analysis capabilities.
18. Contribute to the One Finance Program by promoting digitization, process standardization, and innovation in financial practices.
19. Build and maintain effective interfaces with regional and global finance and business teams to ensure reporting reliability and consistency.
Your Profile
20. Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
21. Minimum of 5 years' experience in Controlling, ideally in an industrial and international environment.
22. Deep knowledge of IFRS and controlling principles.
23. Hands-on experience with SAP FI/CO; proficiency in PowerBi is a strong plus.
24. Proven experience operations finance.
25. Strong financial and analytical acumen with a pragmatic approach to problem-solving.
26. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; confident in influencing senior stakeholders.
27. Leadership skills with the ability to coach and grow a diverse team in terms of seniority and geographical location.
28. Passion for digital finance transformation; familiarity with emerging technologies (RPA, BI, Blockchain) is advantageous.
29. Fluent in English (spoken and written);
additional languages are a plus.
