Our client is an Irish-based RegTech company specialising in regulatory risk intelligence and compliance solutions, partnering with leading organisations worldwide across industries such as banking, insurance, payments, asset management, and legal services.
They're seeking a Site Reliability Engineer with strong experience in AWS, Azure, and Linux. In this role, you'll work at the intersection of SRE, cloud security, and AI/ML operations, helping build reliable systems and ensure secure, scalable platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
* Cloud Infrastructure: Design, implement, and maintain secure, scalable, and reliable cloud environments on AWS and Azure.
* Multi-Cloud Operations: Manage and optimise multi-cloud deployments for mission-critical workloads.
* Security Management: Identify and remediate security risks, implementing IAM, encryption, firewalls, WAFs, and intrusion/DDoS protections.
* Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Build and enhance IaC frameworks, particularly using Terraform.
* CI/CD Integration: Collaborate with DevOps, development, and data science teams to ensure seamless CI/CD pipeline integration.
* AI/ML Pipelines: Enable automated pipelines for training, deployment, and monitoring of machine learning models.
* Performance & Reliability: Monitor and optimise system performance for high availability and reliability.
* Cloud Migration: Lead cloud migration strategies with a focus on resilience and compliance.
* DevSecOps Culture: Embed security into every stage of the software and infrastructure lifecycle.
What You Bring:
* Cloud & SRE Experience: 5+ years of experience in cloud engineering, SRE, or Linux systems roles.
* Certifications: AWS certification and additional cloud or security certifications are a plus.
* Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
* Linux & Cloud Platforms: Strong background in Linux administration and cloud platforms (AWS & Azure), including multi-cloud environments and cloud migrations.
* Security & Compliance: Solid understanding of IT security standards and compliance frameworks (IAM, encryption, SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR).
* Networking & Scalability: Knowledge of firewalls, routing, packet inspection, and load balancing.
* Containers & Automation: Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and automation tools such as Salt, Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
* CI/CD: Proficiency in building and managing CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
* MLOps (Nice to Have): Exposure to MLOps practices and deploying machine learning workflows is a plus.
