A Lobby Ambassador (Luggage Porter) consistently provides exceptional customer service to guests, particularly in relation to the handling, transfer, and storage of luggage.
What will I be doing?
As a Lobby Ambassador (Luggage Porter), you will consistently deliver outstanding customer service to guests, with a particular focus on the transfer and storage of their luggage. You will interact directly with guests and play a key role in shaping their first impressions of the hotel. Therefore, you are expected to perform the following tasks to the highest standards:
1. Offer consistent, high standard service and assistance to Guests and maintain a lobby presence that offers courteous and attentive service.
2. Ensure that individual customers and Groups receive fast, efficient, and friendly service.
3. Ensure that the responsible Team Member on duty is kept fully aware of any relevant feedback from either the customers or other departments.
4. Assist with room moves and luggage deliveries and man the Front Door, following all standard operating procedures.
5. Ensure the effective handling and storing of long-term and short-term luggage for arriving/departing Guests and clients.
6. Maintain public areas and all equipment in immaculate condition.
7. Communicate with Security regarding any unattended luggage.
8. Greet all guests in public areas and rooms in a warm manner.
