The candidate will join the Solutions Engineering & Presales Department as a senior solution architect for Portugal. They will focus on consultative preselling activities, becoming the technical reference for key accounts and designing solutions for cases where the standard portfolio does not fit. They will also handle complex opportunities requiring business line/group level approval and ensure bid management processes are followed by all stakeholders in the country.
- Understand client needs, ensure customer satisfaction, and deliver customized solutions to meet business objectives.
- Design and develop solutions in close collaboration with presales specialists to meet customer requirements, feasibility, cost-effectiveness, and alignment with company products and services.
- Act as proposal managers for selected clients and solutions, dealing with Delivery in Iberia, other Thales entities, and subcontractors to develop proposals, including designing solutions, cost models, leading defense workshops, and managing bid processes.
- Possess broad knowledge of all company products and services to support cross-selling strategies.
- Understand bid management processes thoroughly.
- Support account managers by fostering customer demand and helping prioritize solution development, maintaining close relationships with key accounts.
- Gather and analyze data to help sales teams understand customer requirements, market trends, and the competitive landscape, aiding in sales pitches and development roadmaps.
- Extensive experience in presales and bid management.
- Deep understanding of a 360º cybersecurity portfolio.
- Excellent selling, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Proficient in Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Experience with contractual, financial, and economic topics such as margins, cash flow, bonds, penalties, and liabilities.
- Degree in Computer Science Engineering.
- Recommended security certifications: CISSP, CISM, CEH, CISA, ISO 27001 Lead Auditor/Implementer, GICSP, ITIL Foundation, etc.
- Knowledge and experience in OT/IoT cybersecurity.
- Knowledge of Cloud Cybersecurity.
