We're looking for a detail-oriented and curious Manual QA to join our team and help ensure the quality and stability of our firmware features.
You'll work closely with the Firmware team to manually test new functionality, validate system behavior, and ensure that every release meets our high standards.
RESPONSIBILITIESDesign, execute, and maintain manual test plans for Firmware featuresCollaborate closely with Firmware engineers to understand feature requirements and edge casesIdentify, document, and track bugs using Jira or similar toolsPerform regression, functional, exploratory, and stress testing on Firmware releasesValidate system performance across various hardware configurationsProvide clear, actionable feedback to improve product quality and QA processesAssist in setting up and maintaining test environments, including hardware setupsParticipate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and team meetingsREQUIREMENTSTechnical skills & qualifications
High Technical Professional Course
4+ years of experience in manual QA of embedded or hardware-related systems
Experience writing clear and comprehensive test cases, test plans, and bug reports
Familiarity with Jira or similar bug/issue tracking systems
Ability to follow engineering discussions and translate them into effective test scenarios
People skills & traits
Strong attention to detail, persistence, and a problem-solving mindsetExcellent communication skills and a team player attitudeBonus Points
Experience testing embedded Linux systems and using low-level debug equipment
Experience with complex systems of HWServerApp communications.
Understanding of networking protocols (WiFi, BLE, TCP/UDP)
Exposure to video/audio features or streaming systems
