Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled IT Operations Specialist to join our team at Airbus GBS in Coimbra, Portugal.
Main Responsibilities:
* Provision new software packages and upgrades ensuring seamless integration with existing infrastructure.
* Maintain the infrastructure in operational condition, adhering to OLA/SLAs.
* Monitor and track system performance against negotiated service-level agreements (SLAs).
* Communicate improvement, updates, and obsolescence management of products to the IT Product Manager.
* Perform ITIL-based support processes, including incident, problem, change, configuration, and event management.
* Analyse console messages, diagnose system failures, and take corrective action to ensure continuity of operations.
* Supervise system backup processing and lead disaster recovery tests.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Experience in IT service management, with a focus on service design, transition, and operation.
* Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
* Familiarity with ITIL framework and best practices.
* Experience in defining and managing service level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs).
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
