Company Description:
Our client is a fast-growing international pharmaceutical company based in Santarém. Founded over five years ago, it operates as a Contract Manufacturing Organization (CMO) for global pharmaceutical clients while also manufacturing and commercializing its own branded products. The company operates in a new and emerging field within pharmaceuticals, and over the past 5 years, has slowly grown to being a leader within that niche. With over 60 employees and ambitious growth plans, the company is expanding its finance capabilities to support its next phase of development.
Role Description:
The business is hiring a full-time FP&A Analyst to play a key role in budgeting, forecasting, and performance reporting. Reporting directly to the CFO, you will provide actionable insights to guide decision-making, support strategic initiatives, and ensure payroll is delivered accurately and on time. This is a hands-on role for someone who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and wants to grow their career in a high-impact finance function.
Responsibilities:
* Lead annual budgeting process and conduct monthly variance analysis against budget and forecast, identifying key drivers and actionable insights
* Prepare and maintain quarterly rolling forecasts, updating financial models to assess business performance and conduct scenario planning
* Produce monthly and quarterly management reports, including KPIs, financial dashboards, and business unit scorecards
* Support decision making by providing financial analysis for strategic initiatives, product launches, and cost-savings opportunities
* Manage end-to-end payroll processing for all employees in coordination with HR
Preferred Qualifications and Skills:
* Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related quantitative field (Master's preferred but not required)
* 3+ years of relevant experience in FP&A, financial analysis, or a related finance role
* Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
* High integrity and discretion in handling sensitive financial information
* Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills
* Exceptional attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and organizational skills
* Effective communicator with the ability to collaborate across departments
* Self-starter with a "can do" attitude and the ambition to grow within the organization
* Bonus points for experience with payroll processing (in-house or via payroll provider)
In return, our client is offering:
* Salary: €25,000 – €35,000 depending on experience
