Senior SAP BTP Consultant– responsible for end‐to‐end operation of SAP BTP landscapes in production environments, ensuring reliability, security, and scalability.ResponsibilitiesTake ownership for operational stability, availability, and resilience of SAP BTP environments.Design, implement, and continuously improve monitoring, alerting, and automation for SAP BTP, covering availability, resource consumption, logs, and security‐relevant events.Drive automation of operational and administrative tasks leveraging Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform) and scripting where applicable.Integrate and operate SAP‐native and third‐party tools for monitoring, alerting, logging, security, and cost transparency.Lead SAP HANA Cloud operations, including administration, lifecycle management, backup & recovery, upgrades, performance monitoring, and automation of recurring activities.Manage lifecycle processes such as onboarding, incident handling, service request fulfillment, change management, and continuous improvement.Provide operational insights through reporting, usage analysis, and automation‐driven recommendations to improve reliability, compliance, and cost efficiency.Act as a trusted technical advisor for customers on best practices for running SAP BTP in enterprise‐scale scenarios.Support pre‐sales engagements by presenting service capabilities, automation concepts, technical designs, and value propositions to customers and internal stakeholders.Collaborate with internal teams (architecture, development, security) to ensure solutions are production‐ready, operable, and automation‐friendly.QualificationsMinimum 5 years of hands‐on experience with SAP BTP.Strong experience in SAP BTP administration and operations.Deep expertise in SAP BTP monitoring, alerting, and log analysis.Proven hands‐on experience with SAP HANA Cloud operations.Experience with automation and Infrastructure as Code, ideally using Terraform or comparable tools.Exposure to third‐party tools for monitoring, logging, security, automation, or cost management in cloud environments.Solid understanding of cloud service operations and IT service management processes.Experience working in or with managed services and/or operational delivery teams.Ability to communicate complex technical and automation concepts clearly to customers and stakeholders.A proactive, structured, and ownership‐driven working style.Fluent English is a must; German is a plus.Employment type: Regular Full Time.
