Networking Administrator
Job Description
Its main responsibilities are:
Install, configure, and manage network systems;
Monitor and provide support for network infrastructures;
Engage in projects aimed at the implementation and optimization of networks;
Analyse and resolve issues within network infrastructures;
Maintainhighlevels of customer satisfaction.
Candidate Profile
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Networks, or a related field is required. Candidates with certifications such as Sophos Firewall, Checkpoint, Cisco CCNA, CCNP, and relevant professional experience will be given preference;
Proven experience in configuring and managing switches, routers, firewalls, VPNs, and other network devices;
Familiarity with network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.) and network monitoring tools;
Experience innetwork security measures, including firewall setups, intrusion detection systems (IDS/IPS), and VPN configurations;
Willingness to provide 24/7 support and travel within Portugal;
Proficient inEnglish;
The ability to adapt, be proactive, and dynamic are essential;
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
A strongdesire to learn and take on new challenges;
Highly responsible and meticulous, with strong analytical, planning, organization, and time management skills;
Preference given to candidates who are immediately available.
