ABOUT THE JOB
As a Solution Architect, you are responsible for creating technology and organizational transformation activities and setting the technology direction. Collaborating with technology leaders, including the Head of Architecture and other senior architects, you will help shape the vision and strategies regarding IT architecture to translate business opportunities and customer expectations into innovative IT solutions within the Payments & Mobile domain.
You will use your excellent facilitation and solicitation skills to engage with teams, enhance their capabilities, and continuously explore ways to improve solution quality. You will ensure that options are considered and recommended approaches are clearly designed with valuable solutions. You will champion policies, standards, and practices, and help define and execute the technology strategy for TUI and each domain, considering compliance and business strategy integrity.
You will identify and implement improved architectural practices in an agile environment, mapping discrepancies between current processes and desired states to innovate and adapt to market trends. You will ensure that technical implementations adhere to enterprise and solution architecture standards and organizational objectives.
You will maintain a strong understanding of the bigger picture, staying informed of innovations, technologies, patterns, and practices in Mobile and Cloud spaces. You will use these insights to shape the emergent architecture of TUI Mobile applications and their infrastructure, ensuring the organization has the capacity, capabilities, and culture to deliver sustainable business outcomes with quality from the outset.
ABOUT YOU:
- Thought leader in Mobile and Cloud best practices, active in global Architecture, Cloud, and Security communities.
- An experienced architect and servant leader with a passion for Mobile technology and Cloud architecture.
- Proven track record in designing architecture blueprints and optimizing them to drive development and innovation.
- Skilled in translating business visions into technical strategies and communicating these strategies to stakeholders.
- Experience working in agile environments, integrating architectural practices into agile workflows.
- Excellent communicator and facilitator, comfortable working across organizational and market boundaries and managing senior stakeholders.
- Strong knowledge of Cloud technology, design patterns, micro-services, CI/CD, and DevSecOps.
- Hands-on technical experience in Cloud solutions & deployment (AWS), Mobile ecosystems, Distributed architectures, Digital transformation, Legacy platform migration, RESTful APIs, and API gateways.
- Good understanding of various Mobile platforms and associated challenges.
- Open-minded, inquisitive, and a lifelong learner.
- Comfortable with ambiguity and highly autonomous.
- Energized by solving complex technical problems and pushing innovation through solutions.
- Customer-centric and passionate about delivering excellent digital products and services.
